AMP Centre refurbishment for NZTA, including structural and layout upgrades.

Overview

Focus Interiors was the Main Contractor leading the refurbishment of Levels 5 and 6, and half of Level 4 of the AMP Centre, as a new workplace for NZTA. The scope of works included the strip out of existing ceilings, reconfiguration of services to suit the new layout, installation of new ceilings, partitions, wall linings and joinery, as well as a new set of internal stairs. Works to install the new stairs required cutting a new opening through the concrete floor slabs between Levels 4 & 5 and 5 & 6. This operation needed to be carried out after hours to ensure little or no impact on the AMP Building’s other tenancies.
